The History of Adonis' Learning Center

Adonis Learning Center (ALC) was established in 2000 by Ummi Yolanda and Abu Jaliyl.  Ummi Yolanda has 15 years of childcare experience.  After years of working for other childcare institutions, Ummi Yolanda recognized the need for a curriculum that would holistically promote the development of children from infancy.  ALC is a premiere learning center that focuses on the educational development, cultural awareness, healthy living habits and character building of each child.  Our program is designed for children who will shortly be entering elementary school.  Our staff recognizes the necessity of preparing each child for life and the educational challenges that await them.  Our program is a rudimentary foundation that prepares our students to be independent lifetime learners.
